Bronzeskulptur gewidmet und graviert an "MEINEM THEUREN SCHIVAGER CARL HAVRE 1897 PIETER", Die Bronze ist gestempelt mit "REDUCTION MECANIQUE - A. COLLAS / BREVET" und Signiert mit "F. BARBEDIENNE Fondeur",Achille Collas war ein französischer Graveur, Kupferstecher und Mechaniker, welcher am 22. März 1837 eine Vorrichtung zur Reproduktion plastischer Objekte in jeder gewünschten Größe basierend auf dem Strahlensatz erfand. Im Jahre 1838 schloss sich Collar mit dem Erfinder Barbedienne zusammen und gründete die "Societe Ferdinand Barbedienne et Achille Collas". Nach Achilles Tod führte Barbedienne die Unternehmung mit damals schon 300 Mitarbeitern alleine fort, Barbedienne verstarb 1892. Die Bronze ist eine Miniatur der eines Meisterwerks der Florentinischen Bronzekunst, geschaffen 1710 vom Hofbildhauer der Medici, Massimiliano Soldani Benzi, nach einer antiken Marmorgruppe in den Uffizien in Florenz. Das mitlerweile wieder im Bayrischen Nationalmuseum ausgestellte Original war 77 Jahre verschollen und galt bis zu seiner neulichen Wiederentdeckung als vernichtet. Die Bronze weist eine alterstypische Patina auf und befindet sich in exzellentem Zustzand, Gewicht: 4,85kg, Maße: 22 x 14 x 18,5 cm
